Getting started with Brooklyn Pet Club is simple.

Here’s what the process looks like before your first booking and what you can expect once care begins.

Step 1: Submit an Inquiry

Start by filling out our Contact Form and sharing a bit about your pet and the type of care you’re looking for.

We’ll respond within 24 hours to answer any questions, confirm availability for your requested dates, and discuss possible times for a meet and greet.

If you need urgent care or would prefer to book without a meet and greet, just mention that in your message and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Step 2: Create Your Client Portal

Once we’ve confirmed general availability, you’ll be invited to create an account in our secure client portal.

Through the portal you can:

  • request services

  • schedule meet and greets

  • view your upcoming visits

  • update pet care instructions

  • manage payments

  • communicate with our team

You can also download the mobile app to easily receive updates, photos, and GPS walk tracking.

Step 3: Meet & Greet

Most new clients begin with a meet and greet, where we get to know you and your pet and learn their routine, personality, and any special care instructions.

Based on your needs, we will thoughtfully match you with a Brooklyn Pet Club pet care provider, who will come for the meet and greet and be the person caring for your pet.

Meet and greets are $35, which is credited toward your first service if used within:

  • 1 month for walks or drop-in visits

  • 2 months for house sitting

Once your portal account is set up, you can schedule the meet and greet directly through the portal.

Step 4: Thoughtful Care for Your Pet

During visits, we follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible. This may include walks, feeding, playtime, medications if needed, and anything else that helps your pet feel comfortable and secure.

Step 5: Updates & Communication

You’ll always know how your pet is doing.

For dog walks and drop-in visits, you’ll receive notifications when the visit begins and ends, GPS tracking for walks, photos, and updates.

For overnight house sitting, we send daily updates and photos.

You can communicate with our team anytime through the client portal, mobile app, email, phone, or text.

Step 6: Safety First

Your pet’s safety and well-being are our top priorities. If an emergency ever arises, we will contact you immediately and follow the emergency instructions you’ve provided, including contacting your veterinarian if needed.
